Online Learning with SF Maritime

Ahoy sailors!

In these uncertain times, do you feel lost at sea–like THIS poor guy??

We’re here for you!

While the Park is closed and you can’t visit Hyde St. Pier, we wanted to provide you with some fun videos and activities so that you can stay connected to the sailors and ships at SF Maritime. Please browse the tabs below to see videos of Age of Sail programs past, tutorials on things like knot tying and rigging cargo, and some exciting videos of San Francisco & sailing history. There are some great resources for you here–please enjoy! Also, if there’s anything else you’d like to see here, please reach out to us and make suggestions. While the world is “sheltering in place,” we find ourselves with a lot more time on our hands and we are eager to stay connected with YOU! There will be no idle hands on THIS ship!

Weren’t able to attend your Age of Sail this year due to the global pandemic?! We’re so sorry!! We know students and adults alike look forward to this trip all year, and we look forward to seeing you on the pier as soon as it reopens. Until then, check out these videos of programs past, made by the schools that attended. They’re a lot of fun!
