Here’s your opportunity to get a first-hand look at a once-secret naval vessel that helped to win World War II; the USS Pampanito (SS-383). The Pampanito is a World War II fleet submarine and provides an excellent field trip experience for classes exploring the history of World War II or for other educational groups seeking an out-of-the-ordinary experience. We offer a discounted rate of admission for school groups.
Youth Group Overnight
Spend the night aboard the historic World War II submarine USS Pampanito (SS-383). This unique educational experience is open to all organized youth groups. Groups receive a guided tour of the submarine as well as off-limit areas to the general public. The USS Pampanito is located at Pier 45, at the foot of Taylor Street, in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco.
