USS Pampanito
We independently run the National Historic Landmark WWII submarine museum USS Pampanito.
Visit the USS Pampanito WWII submarine museum at Historic Pier 45 in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf!
Open Daily! 10am – 6pm (last boarding at 5:30pm)
SF Maritime Museum
San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park is a vibrant urban national park. Learn about everything the park has to offer, including the largest museum and research collection in the National Park Service at the Maritime Research Center, the incredible WPA-era art and architecture of the Maritime Museum at Aquatic Park, and the San Francisco waterfront history exhibit on view at the park’s Visitor Center!
Historic Ships
As of November 4, 2024, the pier and historic ships are indefinitely closed to the public. The closing of the pier is an important first step as the park makes preparations to temporarily relocate its largest vessels to Mare Island while the pier undergoes major changes. In-Person Sea Chanteys
A FREE event at San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park with two chances to sing each month.
First Saturday of the month from 6PM-9PM at 900 Beach St, the Maritime Museum.
Third Saturday of the month from 12PM-4PM. Mare Island hosts two concurrent sings, one aboard the historic 1895 schooner, CA Thayer, as well as one in the coal sheds due to accessibility and occupancy concerns aboard CA Thayer.
