REVETTED STORAGE SHEDS TARAWA (1) This log-revetted shed was used as an armory and warehouse at Betio. It is wood construction with a sheet metal roof. (2) A similar type re-vetted warehouse at Betio. The revetment consists of two rows of logs placed upright with sand filling the interspace. Note loose stores piled in the vicinity. The other buildings are workshops or barracks. 5
