This is the lower flat of the Forward Engine Room.
Looking aft between main engines number 1 and 2 there are tool lockers. The large T-shaped handle extending through the deck opens the main engine cooling water intake valve.
Looking forward, the brass tanks, and the large cylindrical shapes coming through the overhead are all parts of the fresh water stills.
