FRUPAC MAPS

During WW II the U.S. Navy's Fleet Radio Unit in the Pacific (FRUPAC) mapped the positions and projected future positions of potential targets and other important information on daily maps. In 2023 the National Museum of the Pacific War digitized these maps. We are thankful for their work in preserving these maps.

Below are links to the maps for a few days before and after the attack on Imperial Japanese convoy HI-72, and the subsequent rescue of British and Australian prisoners of war during Pampanito's third war patrol.
