Description

Come See Eugene O’Neill’s SS Glencairn Sea Plays Performed aboard the Historic Ships at Hyde Street Pier!

Join us aboard the 1886 square-rigger, Balclutha, and the 1890 steam-ferry, Eureka, where we will be hosting performances of a trilogy of O’Neill’s one-act sea plays (Bound East for Cardiff, In the Zone, and The Long Voyage Home). What better way to experience these iconic plays than to see them in the author’s intended setting: on the water and aboard a ship!

The San Francisco Maritime National Park Association and the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park are proud to partner with the Eugene O’Neill Foundation and Eugene O’Neill National Historic Site to bring you this unique, immersive experience!

Performances will be featuring an Irish cast drawn from O’Neill’s ancestral home of New Ross, Ireland!

Three nights only: August 30th, August 31st, and September 1st.

Get there early. Performances will start promptly at 8pm.

Limited spots are available and they will sell-out fast, so get your tickets today!
