Search NARA College Navy Technical Manual ListThe Navy Manual List is a finding aid used to locate records in the Textual Records Branch of the National Archives and Records Administration in College Park, MD. Record Group 344: Series Records of the Naval Ship Systems Command, 1941 - 1980, Technical Manuals and Related Documentation , compiled ca. 1949 - ca. 1978, documenting the period ca. 1917 - ca. 1978, Entry P6E, S-73.The list was provided by the NARA archivists in Mar 2009 and we thank them for creating this wonderful finding aid. A version of this is also available on the NARA web site and will be more current so be sure to check the NARA ARC at ARC ID # 2251418. There are over 5,700 entries. "Simple Search" queries should work for most researchers. The database will be searched for the appearance of the search string anywhere in the database. Note that the query word order matters. For example, "Tank Landing Craft" does not generate the same result at "Landing Craft Tank".
