USS Pampanito Tube Complement

This imperfect tube complement was created by combining two sources.

1- The first was a list created by Joe Senft by looking directly at equipment. This list did not indicate the quantities of each tube or the system it was used in. They are not added into the number of tubes. This list was created a number of years ago before the ARC-4, BN, ABK-1, RBH-2 were added to the boat. It does include an RAO that was replaced by an RBH-2.

2- The second source is from combining the tube compliments on the scanned in catalog pages. Note that these pages are sometimes not the exact revision of the equipment as is installed aboard Pampanito. Additional errors might have been introduced from the underlying documentation, the scanning process, and the combination process. This list includes the 1MC/7MC,ARC-4, RAK, RAL, RBH, TBL, Speech Input Equipment, LM Freq. Meter, RBO, Speaker Amplifiers, ABK-1, BN, DAS, JT, WCA, SJ-1, ST, SV, DCDI, Gyro Mk 7, Frequency Control Unit.

The SPA-1, APR-1, BC speaker amp in conning tower, SCR-624, and possibly other equipment are not represented in the documentation generated list yet.

We do not have a current inventory of the spare tubes we already have on board yet. It is however safe to say that we do not have spares of the odd and/or expensive tubes.

Tube substitutions have not been reduced in most cases. Substitutes in () are from the data sheets. Ones separated by a / are from Joe. I think that substitutions would significantly reduce differences from Joe's list and the catalog page lists.

Tubes with an asterisk (*) in front are more difficult to find. The # is an estimate of the number of the type used one the boat without spares.
