(2) CRATED LOOSE STORES STACKED IN PALM GROVE Some attempt has been made to disperse these stacks taking advantage of the cover offered by the palms. However, the light toned, long even piles plus the heavy track activity are revealing features. The size of the boxes and the dispersal is suggestive of a bomb dump. WEWAK FUEL AND CRATED STORES IN PLANE DISPERSAL AREA. Canvas and palm fronds hide the character of these supplies. Many such small supply points will be found in plane dispersal areas and along roads leading into airfield areas in general. Most are difficult to see in the vertical because natural vegetation is normally used to greatest advantage 33
